First off, enjoy the new Velcro rods that can be manipulated into different shapes and angles, not to mention the easy up and down of the valances for laundering, etc. Decorative rods come in woods, irons, metals, cables, you name it. The finishes are just as extensive, but the trend is definitely still pewter, antique brass, & dark oak. The size of the rod is very important too. Don't skimp on the diameter or the distance above and beside your windows. The look is grand so make sure the decorative rod is too. |
